BigMat was founded in France in 1981 as the first international chain of independent traders for construction materials
By 2022 BigMat had reached 500 members with 904 outlets in countries including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Belgium, Slovakia, and Malta.
Attard Brothers Group brought BigMat to Malta in 2015 with a superstore concept in Ta Qali.
Attard Brothers took the franchise to a new level by extending its portfolio beyond the professional customer sector to meet the needs of the home improvement and DIY needs
The store offers an exciting range of tools, ironmongery, and building materials to home goods, wall décor, crafts, gardening supplies, outdoor furniture, landscaping materials and a constant array of innovative home improvement products.
